Brow Lamination in North Lakes
Fuller, shapelier brows that stay perfectly placed for 6 to 8 weeks. The treatment that fills sparse areas, tames unruly hairs, and gives you the brushed-up look without a daily routine.
The brushed-up brow, every day, for 6 to 8 weeks
Brow lamination is a chemical treatment that softens and resets the direction your brow hairs grow. Stubborn flat hairs get lifted upward; sparse patches at the front get filled in by neighbouring hairs being brushed into place; unruly hairs settle into a neat, defined shape.
You walk out with the kind of brows that look like you've spent five minutes on them with a brow gel — except you don't touch them. They wake up like that. For six to eight weeks. That's why this single treatment has quietly become the most-asked-for brow service in the salon.

Three services, three different jobs
Threading shapes. Tint colours. Lamination resets direction and fills. They do different things, and clients often combine all three for the strongest result. Here's how they actually compare.
| Lamination | Threading | Tint | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it does | Lifts and resets hair direction | Removes hair to shape | Adds soft colour |
| Best for | Sparse, flat or unruly brows | Clean, defined shape | Fair or fading brows |
| Lasts | 6 to 8 weeks | 3 to 4 weeks | 2 to 3 weeks |
| Adds fullness | Yes — fills gaps | No | Slightly (visual) |
| Time in chair | About 45 minutes | 5 to 7 minutes | 10 minutes |
| Price | $65 | $24 | $21 |
The honest summary: if your brows have a great shape but feel sparse or flat, lamination is the upgrade. If you've never had your brows shaped properly, start with threading. If you want all three benefits in one visit, the $95 combo does it.
Who brow lamination works best for
You'll love it if…
You have sparse spots that won't fill in. Your brow hairs grow down or out instead of up. You want the brushed-up "soap brow" look without doing it yourself. Your brows look uneven because some hairs lie flat and others stick out.
It's not for you if…
Your brows are very fine or fragile from over-plucking. You've had a recent reaction to perming or chemical treatments. You're pregnant or breastfeeding (we recommend waiting). Your skin is currently irritated, sunburnt or broken in the brow area.
If you're unsure, drop in or message us a photo — we'll tell you honestly if it'll work for your brows or if shaping + tint would suit you better.

What happens on the day
Consult & cleanse
We discuss the shape you want and check your skin. Brows are cleansed of all makeup and product.
Lift
The lifting solution is applied and brushed into the direction you want — usually upward and outward.
Set & tint
A neutralising solution locks the shape in place. If you've added tint, that's applied next for soft colour.
Shape & nourish
We finish with threading or waxing for a clean shape, then a nourishing serum to soothe the skin.
How to make your lamination last 8 weeks
The first 24 hours are the most important — after that, your lamination is locked in. A little care extends the result significantly.
- Keep brows completely dry for 24 hours — no water, sweat or steam
- Skip the sauna, steam room and very hot showers for 48 hours
- Avoid makeup and brow products on the area for 24 hours
- Don't rub or touch your brows — they're setting into shape
- Brush brows upward daily with a clean spoolie to maintain the shape
- Apply a nourishing serum or castor oil at night to keep hair conditioned
- Avoid retinol and acids directly on the brow area for a few days
- Rebook at six to eight weeks for the next lamination
Common questions
How long does brow lamination last?
Six to eight weeks for most people. The treatment grows out naturally as new hairs cycle through. Most clients rebook around the seven-week mark, when the lift starts to soften.
Will brow lamination damage my brows?
Not when done properly. Damage comes from over-processing — either leaving the solution on too long, or doing lamination too frequently. We time every treatment carefully and recommend a minimum six-week gap between lifts.
Should I get lamination or just threading?
Threading shapes; lamination resets direction and fills sparse areas. If you have a great shape but flat or sparse hairs, lamination is the upgrade. If your brows have never been properly shaped, start with threading. Most clients eventually combine both — that's our $95 combo.
Does it hurt?
Not at all. You'll feel the brushes and product being applied but there's no pulling or stinging. Most clients find it deeply relaxing — eyes closed, gentle pressure, 45 minutes of being looked after.
Can I get lamination if my brows are very thin?
It depends on how thin. Lamination works by lifting and redirecting existing hairs, so we need something to work with. If your brows are extremely sparse, a brow tint or cosmetic tattoo (at our salon) may suit you better. Drop in for an honest assessment.
Can I wear makeup after lamination?
Skip eye and brow makeup for the first 24 hours so the lift sets properly. After that, you can wear anything — but most clients find they don't need brow product anymore.
How often can I get lamination?
Every six to eight weeks at minimum. Doing them more frequently doesn't make the lift better and risks weakening the hair over time. The natural growth cycle sets the rhythm.
Can I get lamination if I'm pregnant?
We recommend waiting. There's no definitive evidence either way, but as a salon we err on the side of caution with chemical treatments during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
