Brazilian, G-string or bikini line?
Most people aren't sure of the difference until they're on the table. Here's the plain version so you book the right thing.
Brazilian
Everything off, front to back, or leave a small strip or triangle at the front. You choose on the day. Hot wax throughout.
G-String
Everything that would show in a G-string. Sides, top and underneath tidied, most hair at the front left as it is. A step down from a Brazilian.
Bikini Line
Just the sides and the top, so nothing shows in regular swimwear or underwear. The quickest and most comfortable of the three.

What actually happens in the room
Private room, door closed
You undress from the waist down and lie on a towel. Your therapist talks you through positions. Nobody is embarrassed. We do this all day.
Hot wax, small sections
Warm wax goes on in strips, sets in seconds, and is lifted off by hand. No paper strips on the intimate area. The wax grips hair, not skin.
Tweeze and tidy
Any stubborn hairs are tweezed. Your therapist checks the shape is what you asked for.
Calm and done
A soothing lotion goes on and you're finished. A first Brazilian takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Regulars are in and out in 15.
Gentler where it matters
We use hot wax for every intimate area. It sets and grips the hair itself rather than the skin, so it lifts coarse hair with less pull and less redness. Strip wax is faster on legs and arms, but on delicate skin, hot wax is the more comfortable choice. Your therapist picks the right wax for each area on the day.
Hygiene is single-use throughout. Fresh spatula every dip, fresh towel every client, no double-dipping.
Make it more comfortable
- Let hair grow to about a grain of rice (5mm, roughly two to three weeks after shaving)
- Gently exfoliate the day before to free trapped hairs
- Book mid-cycle if you can. Skin is more sensitive just before your period
- Skip caffeine and alcohol beforehand
- Wear loose cotton underwear afterwards
- Avoid hot baths, gym, swimming and sun on the area for 24 hours
Before you book
Does a Brazilian wax hurt?
Honest answer: yes, a bit, and most on your first visit. There's a quick sting as each section lifts, then it fades within seconds. Hot wax and a therapist who works quickly make a big difference. After a few regular waxes the hair grows back finer and sparser, and most clients say they stop noticing it.
How long does hair need to be?
About 5mm, the length of a grain of rice. That's usually two to three weeks after shaving. Too short and the wax can't grip. If it's longer than 1cm we'll trim it for you.
How often should I get one?
Every four to six weeks. Regrowth is finer and slower each time, so it only gets easier. Read our guide on how often to get a Brazilian wax.
Can I get waxed on my period?
Yes, as long as you wear a tampon or cup. Skin is more sensitive in the few days before and during, so if you can move it to mid-cycle you'll find it more comfortable.
Can I get waxed while pregnant?
Yes, and many clients do, though skin can be more sensitive during pregnancy. Let your therapist know when you arrive so we can position you comfortably. If you have any concerns, check with your doctor first.
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Both. Walk-ins are welcome at the salon seven days a week. If you want a guaranteed time, book online in under a minute.
Do you do men's Brazilian waxing?
No. We wax back, chest, arms, legs, underarms, nose and ears for men, but not the intimate area.
